21/01 마이크로소프트가 윈도우 10 업데이트 KB4589212를 발표했습니다. 인텔 CPU의 취약점을 패치하는 마이크로 코드가 포함됐습니다.

10세대 코어 프로세서 코멧레이크-S, 코멧레이크-U, 아이스레이크 Y, 레이크필드 등이 포함됩니다.

Notes 1 Rolled back to microcode updates related to Spectre Variant 3a (CVE-2018-3640: "Rogue System Register Read (RSRE)"), Spectre Variant 4 (CVE-2018-3639: "Speculative Store Bypass (SSB)"), and L1TF (CVE-2018-3620, CVE-2018-3646: "L1 Terminal Fault") 2As of February 25, 2020, the update for these select products (CPUs) are available through Windows Update.

Important This update is a standalone update that is targeted at Windows 10, version 2004 and 20H2, and Windows Server, version 2004 and 20H2. This update also includes Intel microcode updates that were already released for these operating systems at the time of release. We will offer additional microcode updates from Intel through this article for these operating systems as they become available to Microsoft. Use the registry settings as described in the Windows client and Windows Server KB articles. (By default, these registry settings are enabled for Windows client OS editions and Windows Server OS editions.) Consult with your device manufacturer and Intel through their websites regarding their microcode recommendation for your device before you apply this update to your device.
